Uber investors reject two safety proposals, as ‘drivers are demanding change’

Uber investors on Monday rejected two proposals related to worker safety and health, the company said after a preliminary tally of votes.

The first proposal, which called for a third-party audit of worker health and safety, received just 9% of votes, Uber UBER Chief Legal Officer Tony West said Monday.
