U.S. stock futures slip after disappointing China data, as debit-ceiling vote looms

U.S. stock index futures were lower Wednesday after data signaling a slowing Chinese economy sparked risk-off trading across markets while investors wait for a vote in Congress on raising the federal debt ceiling.
