Dow drops 181 points on losses for 3M, Home Depot stocks

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is falling Wednesday afternoon with shares of 3M and Home Depot facing the biggest losses for the blue-chip average. Shares of 3M MMM and Home Depot HD have contributed to the index’s intraday decline, as the Dow DJIA was most recently trading 181 points lower (-0.5%). 3M’s shares are off $2.48 (2.6%) while those of Home Depot have dropped $5.99 (2.1%), combining for a roughly 56-point drag on the Dow.
