Wajax Buys Polyphase Engineered Controls

Wajax said Tuesday that its Tundra Process Solutions subsidiary acquired Polyphase Engineered Controls, a producer of custom electrical and instrumentation equipment.

Polyphase employs 44 people and operates facilities in Calgary and Edmonton, Alberta, the Canadian industrial products and services provider said.

The purchase prices wasn’t disclosed.

Roughly a year ago, Wajax’s Tundra Process Solutions arm bought the valve business of Powell Canada in a deal that added three valve servicing and repair locations in Alberta.
