Tesla Inc. on Tuesday introduced cheaper, shorter-range versions of its Model S sedan and Model X SUV.
On its website, Tesla offers a “standard range” Model S starting at $78,500, or $10,000 less than the next version. The cheaper luxury sedan has an advertised range of 320 miles, compared to 405 miles for the more expensive trim.
