Surgical Innovations Names Jonathan Glenn as Next Chairman

By Ian Walker

Surgical Innovations Group said Monday that it has appointed Jonathan Glenn as chairman from September, replacing Nigel Rogers.

The London-listed provider of surgery technology said that Glenn will be appointed senior independent nonexecutive director and chairman designate with immediate effect. He is currently nonexecutive chairman of Tissue Regenix, and was formerly group CEO of Consort Medical.

Rogers will remain on the board until an extra independent nonexecutive director has been appointed, the company said.

The company also said that Founder and Nonexecutive Clinical Director Mike McMahon will retire from the board at the annual general meeting expected on June 27.
