Siemens Energy said Stefan Huppertz has been appointed as the new chief financial officer of troubled wind-turbine unit Siemens Gamesa.
The appointment will be effective as of Sept. 4, the company said on Monday.
Huppertz, who previously served as vice president of finance for the grid solutions business unit, will succeed Martin Welter. Welter is currently serving as interim CFO of Siemens Gamesa after Beatriz Puente left the group.
