Robusta Coffee Price Rebounds at Cameroon Port

YAOUNDE, Cameroon–The price of robusta rebounded at Cameroon’s Douala port compared with the week before, according to data published Friday by the country’s National Cocoa and Coffee Board.

Exporters paid 1,587 CFA francs ($2.64) a kilogram of robusta coffee, up 1.66% from 1,561 CFA francs on June 12, the NCCB figures showed.

Meanwhile, prices at the country’s farmgates were unchanged since June 13.

The beans sold for 1,225 CFA francs a kilogram in the Littoral, Center and East regions, and 1,120 CFA francs a kilogram in the South West Region, they said.
