Raytheon Wins $625 Million U.S. Air Force Contract

Raytheon Technologies on Wednesday was awarded a $625 million indefinite delivery and quantity contract by the U.S. Defense Department to produce force element terminals.

Under the contract, the aerospace and defense conglomerate would provide equipment procurement, interim contractor support, depot activation and contractor logistics support to deliver the required capabilities and materials.

Work will be performed in Marlborough, Mass., and Largo, Fla., and is expected to be completed by June 30, 2034.

The Force Element Terminal subprogram provides a nuclear survivable terminal capable of communicating with the Milstar and advanced extremely high frequency system (AEHF) satellites.
