By Stephen Nakrosis

HashiCorp said it acquired BluBracket, a Palo Alto, California-based startup which “helps companies ship secure code without compromising development speed or changing developer workflows.”

The acquisition would allow HashiCorp to expand its product portfolio and allow customers to discover and manage their entire secrets inventory, the company said.

HashiCorp said it the will initially integrate BluBracket’s functionality into the HashiCorp Vault product, adding new product capabilities are expected later this year.

HashiCorp provides multi-cloud infrastructure automation software, it said. The company’s products include Vagrant, Packer, Vault, and Waypoint.
