GEN Restaurant Group Files for IPO

GEN Restaurant Group, which owns 32 restaurants offering traditional Korean and Korean-American food, filed for an initial public offering on Friday with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

The restaurateur said it had 2022 revenue of $163.7 million, and revenue of $43.9 million for the three-months ended March 31. It has locations in California, Arizona, Nevada, Hawaii, Texas and New York.

GEN Restaurant didn’t give an expected size or price range for their IPO. The company said it expects its Class A common stock will trade on the Nasdaq Global Market under the symbol GENK.
