Dan Loeb’s Third Point wagers on Nvidia, Amazon, Uber with new positions

Dan Loeb’s Third Point LLC built new positions in Uber Technologies Inc., Amazon.com Inc. and Nvidia Corp. during the latest quarter.

Third Point LLC acquired 2.78 million shares of Uber UBER during the second quarter, while purchasing 4.1 million shares of Amazon AMZN and scooping up 500,000 shares of Nvidia NVDA, according to a Monday afternoon 13-F filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
