Cordel Gets UK’s Network Rail Approval for Scanning System

Cordel Group on Monday said that its Wave 32 Mobile Laser Scanning system has gotten official approval from Network Rail.

The U.K. transport-analytics company said its system, which captures data on passenger carrying trains which feeds into its automated pipeline and provides artificial intelligence insights, has been assessed as compliant to Band 3A and can deliver accurate survey and light detection and ranging techniques from vehicle-mounted installations.

At 0746 GMT, shares were up 0.5 pence, or 8.3%, at 6.5 pence.
