Comtech Telecommunications Shares Jump on U.S. Army Contract

Shares of Comtech Telecommunications jumped after the company was awarded a U.S. Army contract with a maximum ceiling value of $544 million.

The stock was up 8.5% at $8.92 in Monday trading. Shares are still down more than 25% year to date.

The contract calls for Comtech to provide onsite professional engineering services, as well as supply and support its satellite and terrestrial networking communications technologies for the Global Field Service Representative support program.
