ADRs End Lower, Best and NaaS Technology Trade Actively

International stocks trading in New York closed lower Wednesday.

The S&P/BNY Mellon index of American depositary receipts retreated 0.4% to 152.98. The European index edged down 0.2% to 148.23. The Asian index lost 0.5% to 175.84. The Latin American index shed 1.6% to 203.68, while the emerging-markets index sank 1.3% to 293.21.

Best Inc. was among those whose ADRs traded actively.

The supply-chain services company rose 7.5% on news it integrated artificial intelligence chatbot ChatGPT into its Qianyi ERP software, which it said allows cross-border sellers to generate multi-language product titles and descriptions using AI.

NaaS Technology moved up 7.4% after the electric vehicle charging service company said it reduced carbon emissions by about 1.8 million tons in 2022, more than double from 896,000 tons in 2021.
