ADRs End Higher, Tal Education and Vnet Group Trade Actively

International stocks trading in New York closed higher on Friday.

The S&P/BNY Mellon index of American depositary receipts rose 1.4% to 160.84. The European index edged up 0.9% to 153.91. The Asian index climbed 2.2% to 188.89. The Latin American index ticked up 0.7% to 211.20, while the emerging-markets index advanced 2.4% to 315.10.

Tal Education was among those whose ADRs traded actively.

The Chinese learnings solutions provider rose 24% after reporting higher revenue in its latest quarter.

Vnet Group climbed 16% after the Chinese internet data center services provider made changes to its leadership team, including appointing Tim Chen as chief strategy officer and Qiyu Wang as chief financial officer.
