Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.28%

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the rose 0.28%.

The best performers of the session on the were Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:), which rose 2.28% or 11.80 points to trade at 529.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CSE:) added 1.67% or 16.20 points to end at 989.00 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:) was up 1.53% or 2.96 points to 196.50 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:), which fell 2.30% or 305.00 points to trade at 12,975.00 at the close. DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:) declined 1.96% or 24.50 points to end at 1,228.50 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:) was down 1.85% or 240.00 points to 12,750.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 86 to 57 and 18 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.30% or 0.97 to $75.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.89% or 0.71 to hit $80.26 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.53% or 10.75 to trade at $2,015.05 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.42% to 6.84, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.51% at 102.87.
