Dow up 100 points, Nasdaq down in shortened post-Thanksgiving session

U.S. stocks were mixed on Friday, with the Dow up 100 points and the Nasdaq trading in the red amid light trading volume during a shortened post-Thanksgiving session.

How are stocks trading?

On Wednesday, the Dow industrials added 184.74 points, or 0.5%, to finish at 35,273.03, the highest level since Aug. 14. The S&P 500 rose 0.4% to 4556.62, its highest since Aug.1, while the Nasdaq Composite advanced 0.5% to end at 14,265.86
