Dow’s 100-point fall led by losses for shares of Travelers, Chevron

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down Wednesday morning with shares of Travelers and Chevron seeing the biggest declines for the index. Shares of Travelers TRV and Chevron CVX are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline, as the Dow DJIA was most recently trading 99 points, or 0.3%, lower. Travelers’s shares have fallen $2.25, or 1.2%, while those of Chevron have fallen $1.68, or 1.1%, combining for a roughly 26-point drag on the Dow.
