By Adria Calatayud

Telecom Italia said it received two new, nonbinding offers for the purchase of its fixed-network business Netco from a consortium formed by Italian state lender Cassa Depositi e Prestiti and Australia’s Macquarie Group and from U.S. private-equity group KKR.

The Italian telecommunications company said late Friday that the offers would be examined by its board of directors on June 19 and 22. Terms of the bids weren’t disclosed.
