Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the fell 1.89%.

The best performers of the session on the were Tryg A/S (CSE:), which rose 0.22% or 0.35 points to trade at 160.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:) fell 0.86% or 4.20 points to end at 484.00 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:) was down 0.95% or 8.40 points to 878.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:), which fell 3.61% or 22.80 points to trade at 609.00 at the close. AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:) declined 3.07% or 360.00 points to end at 11,365.00 and Bavarian Nordic (CSE:) was down 2.91% or 5.95 points to 198.40.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 102 to 44 and 16 ended unchanged.

Shares in AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:) fell to 52-week lows; losing 3.07% or 360.00 to 11,365.00.

Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.84% or 1.34 to $74.25 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.70% or 1.31 to hit $78.15 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.19% or 3.70 to trade at $1,970.80 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.12% to 6.92, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.45.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.34% at 103.74.
